Kay Nielsen, one of the most famous children's book illustrators of all time, will delight children and adults, with this his masterpiece. The stories he illustrated were gathered by famed folklorists and inseparable friends, Peter Christen Asbjornsen and Jorgen Moe who were the Norwegian Brothers Grimm, travelling the length of Norway in search of folktales.
